Our overall experience was great at Mystic mayapot. The property is situated amidst 140 acres of cardamom plantations and has a waterfall stream passing through the middle of it. It’s so serene and calming to listen to the sound of the stream from your room/balcony. The service was really good. We ate breakfast and dinner there and both were delicious. The staff also organised a bonfire on the two nights we were there.
Our only complain was that there is an electricity issue in the area so on the first day the WiFi wasn’t working properly. The second day they arranged for an additional generator and everything was working fine.
The staff also can arrange a visit to the cardamom processing unit if you ask. Overall definitely recommend the property!

Ever since the video of property popped up on social media, there was always an urge to visit the place.. and apart from the money spent, everything was just awesome. The ride to the outer of this vast cardamom estate and further traversing through plantation to the property is too good. And hospitality gets 10/10 on all counts right from the moment we step down. The exquisite view of the stream flowing underneath the property which is so aesthetically built upon rocks is just mind blowing... After sinking in the location, the food was another feather in the crown, it's too good and alas, not included in your package.
They have a trekking plan along, but due to rain, couldn't enjoy. Would suggest some more activites rather like cycling around plantation etc.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Mayapott Resort. Nestled in the middle of a lush plantation, the resort offers a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Very limited network connectivity which is the best thing can happen. The only drawback is the ground floor rooms, as the celling is made of wood the guest who are on top will creat lot noise while walking only. So we asked for another room luckly they had a vacant room available above the reception not as good as the earlier one but it is quite and sound of the stream can be heard clearly, gives a good pleasent sleep by listening to the water stream music. Request to the management to rectify the cilling issue with some insulation to avoid noisy stay.
Food was fresly prepared and tasty was realy good. visit to the cardamom factory was realy great.

We had a wonderful two-day stay at Mystic, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Noble and the team were fantastic, offering warm hospitality and being incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The location itself is stunning, providing a perfect escape into nature.
We booked an entire bungalow! The activities were the highlight of our trip—taking a refreshing dip in the waterfall, trekking through scenic trails, and fishing were all memorable experiences. Being so close to nature was incredibly rejuvenating.
Overall, our time at the resort was fantastic, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and adventurous getaway. We had a great time and will definitely consider returning in the future.

A magical place nestled in a cardamom plantation. True to its name there is a mystic allure to it.
The resort architecture and the ambience is very well blended with the natural surroundings, highlight being the water stream reappearing from the Mayapothu…
You can spend hours lost in the smoothing sounds of flowing water and bird calls. Ideal place for a digital detox.
The resort is managed excellently by the team lead by Managers Praveen and Albert.
The team is very attentive to your needs and made our stay a memorable one.
And kudos to the Chef for the awesome food served during our stay.

True to its name, there is a charming water stream flowing out (especially after rains) from the Mayapothu within the resort which makes a great private spot to enjoy with your loved ones. The sound of the water flowing, leaves rustling and birds chirping is all that you get to hear from this beautiful place that is away from the city. It has only 5 cottages within a vast cardamom plantation that is far away from the city - perfect digital detox. Their welcome drink (coconut milk tea) is what I still crave to have on cozy evenings. Food was yummy and gave a home-made waali feeling. The architecture is very eco-friendly and the lemongrass fragrance that was used in the rooms as freshener still lingers in my heart.The staff were courteous and warm. If the stay is available at affordable prices, definitely will come back again 😁

We stayed at Mystic Mayapott for 2 days during our visit to Thekkady. We had one of the finest experience staying there, feeling close to nature and nestled away from the noise and rush. The design, architecture and theme of the resort is just incredible, with a river stream going right through the middle and the whole structure is just wrapped with trees, roots, rocks in a very creative way. The staff is doing an amazing job in maintaining the place, keeping it tranquil and taking utmost care of guests. They go above and beyond in every way. Special mention to the chefs, everything that we tried there was amazing. Would definitely come back to stay at Mystic Mayapott again.

The first thing you notice while entering the resort is it’s architecture. Located in the interiors of the city is is built around natural elements, which gives you a beautiful view of a tributary of The river flowing through the property. The stone walls and interiors add on to the calming and serene atmosphere. It’s truly nature’s abode and the only sounds you hear are the rustling of the leaves, flowing of the river and the singing of the birds. You have acres of well maintained land for a lovely trek among the cardamom plantations. And if you seek some more adventure you have an elevated climb uphill. The river is very much accessible to those who would love a splash. The rooms are very well maintained and the staff are extremely hospitable and friendly. I would highly recommend this place for those who would like a good getaway from the normal busy city life .

Mystic mayapott is the perfect place for anyone who craves an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It’s a plantation bungalow built in the most sustainable manner and hence the bungalow looks as if it’s mushroomed out of the cardamom plantation around. We visited the property in monsoon and the stream within the property was in all its glory offering a wild charm for our holiday. Staff are extremely courteous, waiting for our arrival at the entrance and greeting us with namaskaaram. There is a pool if you want to take a dip. Food is good, with a decent spread. Extra bed was provided upon request. There is a chess board, Carom board , books to read and bikes if you want to ride. Everything in the place has an estate life vibe to it and that makes it even more special. Visit the place if you want to spend time in company of nature without the typical luxury of a resort.

+ One of our rooms had a forest view & other one a Stream + swimming pool view. Both amazing. Property has 5 rooms in all.
+ A family dining area thats so picturesque, in a lush green backdrop & water flowing beneath!
+Steps to comfortably get into the stream. Enjoy soothing sounds of water flowing through all day.
+Cycle around within hectares of cardamom plantations. Check your brakes! Trekking option available.
+A delightful Coconut Milk Tea as Welcome Drink! New and refreshing. Warm staff.
What could be better:
-While one of the rooms we booked didnt have a functional geyser/kettle, Prompt service helped with a work-around.
-Get your own bar.

The location of this property placed on marvelous spring and surrounded by cardamom plantation. The room had perfect aspects and constructed with excellent skillset. The ambiance provided a luxury and comfortable stay along with the rhythm of waterfalls and vibrant singing of birds. The safety walking in cardamom plantation, melting of hours extensively.

If you’re planning a visit to Mystic Mayapott, expect an experience truly close to nature. The property is surrounded by lush cardamom plantations—everywhere you look it’s green and soothing to the eyes.
The in-house waterfall is stunning, and the swimming pool with natural flowing water is refreshing and unique. Rooms are simple and comfortable (not luxury), and while lunch could be better, both dinner and breakfast were good.
Most importantly, the staff are extremely caring and attentive, which makes the stay even more memorable. Overall, Mystic Mayapott is a peaceful, nature-filled getaway that I’d happily recommend

Heavenly place to stay if you’re from the city..you will love this place. It’s a bungalow built inside a cardamom estate over a small stream with 5 rooms. The rooms were amazing with beautiful views and greenery all around. They have a wonderful small pool to take a dip. Food is prepared by in-house chef which was delicious and has limited menu. Breakfast and dinner included, but nearby restaurants are rare to find and u need to travel about 10-15km to find one. Stay for a couple of days and disconnect from the outside world and connect with nature. Must visit place.

Stayed two days on the premises. As a family vacation I would expect clean and cozy rooms. Room service. Food and ambiance restaurant, friendly and attentive staff, taxi services. Patience on questions to staff. Willingness to keep the customers happy. I did got all the above while staying in mystic mayapott. U won't regret the saty specially on room no 202

Mystic Mayappot is one of the best jungle resort in Kerela for family . Away from hustle and bustle the property offers peace and relaxing environment. The place became my favourite as i spent most of the time swimming and enjoying the nature all around. If you are staying here please dont miss their authentic food. Rooms are cozy and has a beautiful nature view from its window. With all the amenities and facilities i must say this is one of the hidden gem in Kerela. A must stay property if you are visiting Thekkady.

I stayed at Mystic Mayapott with my family, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was simply delicious ,some of the best we’ve ever had. We enjoyed a peaceful walk through the property’s beautiful cardamom estate, which made the stay even more memorable. The view from our room was breathtaking , we could see a stunning waterfall right from our window. Waking up to that sight in the morning was truly the best way to start the day.

A resort built over a waterfall stream, this is maybe the best stay and resort I have experienced so far. From reception to the rooms, from food to fun, from trekking to swimming, from grill to fishing, all good. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wishes a peaceful natural stay with family or friends! Mr. Noble and Mr. Albert were very prompt and courteous.

The attraction of this place is it’s located inside a forest giving nature vibes and their motive behind is not to disturb nature which intrigued me . Food was excellent and always home cooked as they have kitchen in the place . Special kudos to Chef Premkumar who prepared dishes with love during our stay in sep ‘25 . Only downside of this resort is it has only limited rooms so plan while booking this location in advance . Would definitely stay in this place another time .
